Came here for the first time tonight while visiting family in Bradford. The menu isn't as expansive as other all you can eat places but there's enough variety there and food was ok. As others have mentioned, the ordering process can be much improved as you have to tell the server what you would like to order. They should consider the tablet ordering system or allow the diners to fill out a form. Our server was actually very good. However, it is easy to notice the ones that seem unfriendly. You also have to walk up to the cashier to pay which isn't a big deal, but it seems like one of the unfriendly staff is there. We can also confirm that a mandatory service charge is added to the bill regardless of party size as we only had 3 people. They were pretty busy as well but considering the location, there isn't much competition for sushi in the area yet.

This is a 5 star rating with an ✳ because the food is great! Best sushi in the area. But like many all you can eat sushi joints, especially if you're with a larger crowd, things can get missed. You're better off telling your server you think you ordered xxxx but don't want to get two orders...unless you can handle two orders, then have at it!

My wife is Japanese and Akita is a prefecture in Japan (also a type of Japanese dog). The Bradford Akita staff was all Chinese that barely speak English, knew almost nothing about sushi or sashimi. We have eaten sushi a great deal in Japan, including Tokyo fish market. The Akita restaurant in Bradford was terrible. The wasabi (usually green food colouring and horseradish) was the worse we have ever had. The Akita wasabi is actually made from flour, spices and green food colouring. Horrible. The price is outrageous considering the poor quality. Panda Express, though a long way from Japanese sushi is consistently two stars higher in ranking. Avoid Akita.

Service isn't great, but it is an all you can eat restaurant. There was confusion when ordering as this restaurant doesn't operate like most all you can eats. You place your order with the server as opposed to writing it down yourself. This created issues in the quantities of items ordered. It also made it hard to order multiple rounds. We had to flag our server down each time. Other than that the food was great and tasted really fresh.

I come here often. I like the food. I think it's a little pricy. The servers are friendly but sometimes make mistakes. Some servers have trouble with English so I order something like a drink and they bring the wrong thing. They walk away really quick so I can't tell them there's been a mistake. One time they served water to the table but left the cups at the end of the table instead of serving it to each guest. Not a big deal, it won't keep me from coming here again but it feels weird when you bring your friends to a restaurant you really like and the service is noticeably bad.
